FBLA

Moderator: Dr. Su Craddock

Description: FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is a nonprofit educational association of student members preparing for careers in business.  During the course of the year, you will have the opportunity to hear great speakers, participate in community service projects, attend our annual Fall Rally in Perry, compete against other high schools all over the state, attend leadership conferences and much more!

Meeting Times and Locations: Dates subject to change; Meetings are announced via email, Remind, and Google Classroom for existing members, and electronic message boards for everyone; check email and Google Classroom regularly (current members only) and watch electronic message boards 3 pm-3:20 pm; Room 400

Club Dues for the Year: $28 without an FBLA t-shirt (we decided not to order t-shirts this year)

Other Information: FBLA has over 250,000 members in the US, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, US Territories, Haiti, Canada, China, Hungary, and more nations (the organization has more than name recognition around the world, it has chapters with members competing at the national level).  Membership is open to all students who are interested in pursuing a business or business-related career.  Participating in competitive events, becoming an officer, applying for scholarships, discovering and learning about your specific career path, networking with students from around the United States, and having fun are opportunities provided for every FBLA member.  It also looks great on a college application, resume, and National Honor Society application.
