The mission of the Blessed Trinity Catholic High School Learning Commons is to provide curricular support to the students, faculty, and staff using a variety of print and non-print resources; to encourage students to be active and effective users of information; to become lifelong learners; and to foster spiritual growth and academic excellence among the Blessed Trinity community.
What are the hours of operation?
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, from 7:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Fridays from 7:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Times may vary according to meetings, etc., scheduled for the Learning Commons
How do I search for books?
Use Destiny, our library automation system. It can be accesses under the 'btcatholic.org bookmarks' button when logged in on your Chrome Book. This will also allow access to our extensive database holdings. For more information on our databases, click here.
How do I use BT resources when I am not at BT?
Destiny can be accessed when you are away from our campus when using your Chrome Book. Also, many of our databases can also be accessed from the 'btcatholic.org bookmarks' button.
What are the check out policies?
You may check out books from the General Collection for two weeks. You will be charged a fee of $.50/day for each overdue book. Please leave newspapers and magazines in the Learning Commons so that others may read them when you're finished.
Please do not eat, drink, or talk on cell phones (not even before or after school). Please refer to the Student Handbook for more details about policies and procedures.
