'04 GRADUATE TYLER FLOWERSTyler Flowers has officially broken camp with the Chicago White Sox as a member of the 2012, 25 man roster! Tyler Flowers hit his first major league homerun against the Kansas City Royals then followed that by hitting his first major league grand slam against the Seattle Mariners. Tyler was called up after the All-Star break and hit 5 homeruns and had 16 rbi for the 2011 season in the major leagues. |
'10 GRADUATE JAKE SKOLEJake was the 15th overall pick in the 2010 draft by the Texas Rangers. The first round draft pick had 9 homeruns and 62 rbi for the Hickory Crawdads. Jake also had 21 stolen bases and was named the South Atlantic League Player of the Week. |
'08 GRADUATE MATT SKOLE NAMED WASHINGTON NATIONALS MINOR LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE YEAR!Skole hit .292 with 27 HR's and 104 RBI in 118 games in 2012. He was also named the South Atlantic League MVP. Matt's 27 HR's led the South Atlantic League and was the most among ALL Washington Nationals minor leaguers. On Monday, September 3, 2012, the Washington Nationals announced that Matt Skole was their Minor League Player of the Year. |
