The mission of the Blessed Trinity Catholic High School Media Center is to provide curricular support to the students, faculty, and staff using a variety of print and non-print resources; encourage students to be active and effective users of information; to become lifelong learners; and to foster spiritual growth and academic excellence among the Blessed Trinity community.
What are the hours of operation?
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, from 7:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Wednesdays from 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Fridays from 7:15 a.m.-- 3:30 p.m.
Times may vary according to meetings, etc., scheduled for the Media Center
How do I search for books?
Click on http://bt-mc to search for holdings if on-campus. This is Destiny, our library automation system. This will also allow access to our extensive database holdings. For more information on our databases, click here
Where Can I find New Books to Read?There are several displays around the Media Center. Also, you can check out our Shelfari page
How do I acquire home access to information?
Use http://workfromhome.btcatholic.org to access ALL of the Media Center's online catalog and databases as well as gaining access to your "H drive" for storage of files and documents you work on at home. All you need to access work-from-home is your username and password.
What are the check out policies?
You may check out books from the General Collection for two weeks . You will be charged a fee of $.50/day for each overdue book. Please leave newspapers and magazines in the Media Center so that others may read them when you're finished.
Please do not eat, drink, or use cell phones (not even before or after school). Please refer to Page 32 of the Student Handbook for more details about policies and procedures.
Student Reminder!All students must have a pass from their teacher to enter the media center from class. Please sign in every time you visit the Media Center between 7:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m, even at lunch (unless with a class)
